After the resounding success of Blackouts, we've decided to expand the line by offering Blackouts active for electric guitar humbuckers with chrome, gold and black nickel-plated metal covers. Now, you can enjoy the extreme metal tones that Blackouts offer while retaining a classy, unique and metallic look that coordinates well with all guitar hardware finishes.
The covers utilize a nickel silver substrate, the same cover material we use for our classic passive humbucker covers. The nickel silver substrate provides nearly no magnetic interaction with the pickup and is ideal for surface plating.
In other Blackouts news, we're proud to announce the launch of Blackouts for Bass. These active 4- and 5-string soapbars and on-board Tone Circuits are voiced for the aggressive bass tones of metal, classic metal, punk and heavy rock.
